Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Type Travellers is operated by Abrar Online Ltd., United Kingdom. Contact: info@typetravellers.com.
2. Who may hold an account
Accounts are held by adults — a parent, guardian or a school. Children do not hold accounts: in a family account a child is a profile created and managed by the account holder. You must be 16 or over to create an account or to join our waiting list. If you create profiles for children in your care, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
3. The waiting list and the early-supporter discount
Joining the waiting list is free and places you under no obligation. If you join before November 15th and confirm your email address, we will send you a personal discount code worth 20% off, to be used when you first subscribe.
- One code per person. Codes are personal and not transferable.
- The code cannot be combined with another offer.
- The full terms of the code — what it applies to and how long it stays valid — will be published here before launch.
- We may end the waiting-list offer early if we have to, but we will honour every code already issued.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials, or let anyone use your account who is not in your household or school.
- Attempt to break, probe or overload the service, or to access another account's data.
- Copy, resell or redistribute the lessons, artwork, audio or any other part of the service.
- Automate or falsify typing results.
5. What we provide
We work hard to keep Type Travellers available and accurate, but we provide it as an educational game, not as a guarantee of any particular learning outcome. We may add, change or retire features — including lesson content — as the product develops. Where a change materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you.
6. Your content and data
You keep every right in the information you give us. How we handle it is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Ending your account
You can close your account at any time from your account settings; doing so permanently deletes your data and every child profile under it. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will give you a reason and, where reasonable, a chance to put it right first.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect, and you may close your account if you do not accept them.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — subject to any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live.
